All practices will go on as scheduled unless notified in advance. The head coach has the final say, per the safety and well-being of the athletes.  Call will be made with at least 1 hour notice, based on the changing weather of the Louisville metro area.

Do I need to be a US Lacrosse Member?

Yes, not only do you need it for insurance purposes but most of the tournaments we attend will require each player to have a US Lacrosse Membership.

Am I expected to attend all practices and tournaments?

Players are expected to attend and be on time to practices and games. Missing practice only hinders the growth of you and your team. We do understand however that at times other commitments may have priority. Please notify us in advance if you cannot attend a practice. As for tournaments, if you have been selected for the travel team, those are mandatory.  Tournaments are where you gain a lot of playing experience and where a majority of college recruiting takes place. Once you have been selected to participate on the travel squad, you are required to pay the full travel fees by the designated date communicated by the Club Director.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring to every practice a mouthguard, goggles, stick, water, and turfs/cleats. Sneakers are also highly encouraged to have with you on hand if we do move into the building for practice due to weather. Goalies please be sure to bring all of your gear as well (helmet, chest protector, etc.)

What if I am not interested in competing at the college level, is Elite still for me?

YES!! This program will not only help those who want to play at the college level, but will also give players an opportunity to improve their individual skills and enhance team concepts that can carry over to their high school or middle school seasons.
